The CAPPS HR/PY Payroll Module Lead Analyst will join the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Fiscal Management Statewide Fiscal Systems team, supporting the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) Program. CAPPS HR/Payroll is the State of Texas ERP system built on Oracle PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2, Image 53, and includes HR, Payroll, Position Management, Commitment Accounting, Time & Labor, Performance Management, and CAPPS Recruit. The analyst serves as the subject matter expert for the CAPPS HR/PY Payroll module, providing senior-level consultative services and functional support. The role involves day-to-day functional support for the PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll module, payroll configuration and processing, cross-functional collaboration with 100+ state agencies, and participation in major incident management, disaster recovery, and annual audit activities. The position is primarily remote (within the continental US) with occasional on-site presence at CPA's Austin, TX headquarters as needed.
