QA automation engineer position responsible for designing automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining priority for test scenarios, creating execution plans, and designing documentation for automated processes. The role performs Quality Assurance activities for an application for the (PCS) Contract Operations team as part of an initiative to enhance and update the System Contract Operating and Reporting application. Position involves developing and maintaining automated test cases using Playwright or similar technology, developing test scripts for both manual and automated testing, performing manual testing as required, tracking test case execution, establishing automated schedules, using Jira for defect tracking, and developing requirements traceability matrices. Must work in an Agile environment and support development team through dev, test, UAT, and production phases.
